How does laser lipolysis work?
The procedure uses laser energy to target and break down the fat cells under the chin. The laser's heat effectively removes fat cells by rupturing their membranes. The melted fat is then aspirated or gradually metabolised through the lymphatic system.
Alongside fat removal, the laser coagulates small blood vessels (less bleeding) and stimulates collagen production to tighten the skin — a double aesthetic effect in a single procedure.
