From an inquiry to a diagnostic plan
Clinical examination, breast ultrasound, needle aspiration and core biopsy answer different diagnostic questions. The doctor selects the necessary procedures based on your reason for visiting and the findings.
Before booking
Tell us whether you are visiting because of a change you noticed, another doctor’s recommendation or a follow-up. Bring earlier reports and images for comparison.
Imaging and sampling
Ultrasound shows breast tissue; aspiration and biopsy take a sample for analysis. An additional procedure is not automatically included in an ultrasound visit. Its need, timing and fee must be discussed separately.
Results and further assessment
Ask your doctor what the findings mean, whether additional assessment is needed and how to arrange follow-up. For samples sent for analysis, confirm when and how the results will be provided.
