How does the blue laser work?

The Milesman Blauman uses a specific wavelength of 450 nm that is particularly effective at targeting pigments in the skin — melanin and oxyhaemoglobin. The laser light creates thermal energy that breaks down the pigment, which the body then eliminates naturally. The treatment is superficial and precise, without cutting the surrounding healthy tissue.

Important: for suspicious moles, surgical removal with histopathological analysis is always recommended — laser treatment destroys the lesion and does not allow tissue analysis. That is why a doctor examines every lesion before the procedure.

Does the treatment hurt?

The treatment is almost painless and usually requires no anaesthesia. Most patients feel only a brief sensation of warmth or slight tingling.

Are there scars?

The blue laser works very precisely and superficially, so the risk of scarring is minimal. Proper care of the crust is key — it must not be picked off before it falls away naturally.

How long is recovery?

A tiny crust forms at the site of the lesion and falls off within 1–2 weeks. During that time you can carry on with everyday activities.
