Audiometry
A diagnostic test measuring hearing acuity at different frequencies and sound levels. It is quick, painless and non-invasive, and the result helps detect and monitor hearing loss early.
Tympanometry
A non-invasive test assessing how the middle ear works and how the eardrum moves under pressure changes. It helps detect fluid, inflammation or disorders of the middle ear, especially in children.
Balance tests
Assessment of the vestibular system, which controls balance. It helps diagnose vertigo, unsteadiness when walking and other balance disorders, and guides further treatment.
Ear endoscopy
Examination of the ear canal and eardrum with a flexible camera endoscope, providing a magnified, clear view. It allows precise detection of infections, wax blockages and eardrum damage.
Ear cleaning (ear toilet)
Safe, painless removal of excess earwax, debris or build-up using specialised instruments under direct vision. It restores hearing and prevents infections without injuring the ear canal.
Laser myringotomy
Precise creation of a tiny opening in the eardrum with a laser to drain fluid from the middle ear. It is a safer alternative to a conventional incision, with less bleeding and a faster recovery.
Foreign body removal
Expert, gentle removal of foreign bodies from the ear canal, particularly common in children. The procedure is quick, performed under direct vision and with minimal discomfort.
Throat — Larynx, tonsils and voice — from therapy to surgery.
Tonsillectomy
Surgical removal of the tonsils for frequent infections, recurrent purulent tonsillitis or obstructive sleep apnoea. The procedure permanently resolves recurring infections, and recovery usually takes one to two weeks.
Adenoidectomy
Removal of enlarged adenoids that cause difficulty breathing through the nose, frequent ear infections and snoring. It is the most common procedure in children, with a quick recovery and visibly easier breathing.
Treatment of throat infections
Diagnosis and treatment of pharyngeal and tonsil inflammation — bacterial, viral and fungal infections. Therapy is tailored to the cause and severity, from medication to surgery.
Sleep apnoea
Assessment and treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea — pauses in breathing during sleep that cause snoring and fatigue. After the work-up we propose a plan: lifestyle changes, a CPAP device or a surgical solution.
Voice disorders
Work-up of hoarseness and voice loss or fatigue through examination of the larynx and vocal cords. Depending on the findings, we offer speech therapy, medication or surgery to restore a healthy voice.
Swallowing disorders
Diagnosis of difficult or painful swallowing (dysphagia) to identify its cause. The treatment plan includes dietary adjustments, medication or a targeted intervention.
Laryngoscopy
Endoscopic examination of the larynx, vocal cords and upper airways with a magnified view. It allows precise detection of inflammation, nodules and other changes, with tissue sampling for analysis if needed.

Stopping nosebleeds (epistaxis)
Fast, safe control of nosebleeds using pressure, cauterisation or nasal packing. We also identify the cause of the bleeding to prevent it from recurring.
Septoplasty
A minimally invasive procedure under local anaesthesia to straighten a deviated nasal septum. It makes breathing through the nose easier and reduces frequent headaches and sinus infections.
Rhinophyma surgery
Removal of thickened tissue and reshaping of the nose in rhinophyma using a scalpel, electrocautery or laser. It restores the natural shape of the nose with neat, aesthetically pleasing skin.
Allergy assessment
Targeted testing to identify the allergens causing sneezing, itching and nasal congestion. Based on the results we create a plan: medication, immunotherapy or changes to your environment.
Sinus infections
Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic sinusitis, which causes facial pressure, headaches and congestion. We offer medical therapy and, when needed, minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Treatment of a blocked nose
Identifying the cause of persistent nasal congestion — from a deviated septum to mucosal inflammation. Treatment is tailored to the findings: medication, sprays or surgery.
Nasal polyps
Treatment of non-cancerous growths of the nasal and sinus lining that impair breathing and reduce the sense of smell. The approach includes medication and sprays, and for larger polyps a minimally invasive surgical procedure.

Frequently asked questions
What patients most often ask about ENT examinations.
Does audiometry hurt?
No — audiometry is a painless, non-invasive hearing test. Headphones are placed over your ears and you respond to sounds at different frequencies. The test takes 15–20 minutes and requires no special preparation.
When is tonsil surgery (tonsillectomy) needed?
A tonsillectomy is recommended for frequent purulent tonsillitis (more than 3–5 episodes per year), chronic tonsil infections resistant to antibiotics, or obstructive sleep apnoea caused by enlarged tonsils. The decision is made by an ENT specialist based on the examination and medical history.
What is septoplasty and when do I need it?
Septoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that straightens a deviated nasal septum. It is recommended when the deviation causes persistent nasal congestion, frequent sinusitis or headaches. It is performed under local anaesthesia, and recovery takes a few days.
What causes a blocked nose and how is it treated?
Nasal congestion is most often caused by a deviated septum, allergic or chronic rhinitis, nasal polyps or sinusitis. Treatment depends on the cause: it may include medication and sprays, immunotherapy for allergy sufferers, or a minimally invasive surgical procedure.
How long does an ENT examination take?
A standard ENT examination takes 20–40 minutes. It includes an examination of the ears, nose and throat and a conversation about your symptoms and therapy. More complex diagnostics (audiometry, tympanometry, endoscopy) are arranged at the same or the next visit — no referral and no long waits.
